Part 2 of SONI’s 3-Part Process for Developing the Grid will begin in 2024, with extensive consultation planned local communities, elected representatives and key stakeholders.
During this part of the process, we will identify the exact location where the project will be built, what specific technology will be used and we will engage with stakeholders to enable them to have their say on the project.

Part 2a of our 3-Part Process for Developing the Grid is underway, with extensive engagement planned with the local community, elected representatives and other key stakeholders.
To help identify the exact location where the substation will be placed, we are inviting key stakeholders and members of the local community to attend our upcoming public engagement event to learn more about the project and offer feedback to help shape our plans.
