Republic of Ireland residents’ use of the Extranet is subject to EirGrid’s Privacy Policy, which is available here.

Northern Ireland residents use of the Extranet is subject to SONI’s Privacy Policy, which is available here.

EirGrid respects the Extranet User’s right to privacy and complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 and EC Directive 95/46/EC (up to and including 24 May 2018) and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) OJ L 119/1, 4.5.2016 ("GDPR") (on and from 25 May 2018) or any equivalent legislation amending or replacing the GDPR. Intellectual Property Rights

Extranet Users agree by using the Extranet that all information, communications, photography, text, images, graphics, software, trademarks, trade names, logos and other materials and services on the Extranet (the "Intellectual Property") are protected by copyright, trademark, database rights, sui generis rights and other intellectual property laws under the laws of the Republic of Ireland and international treaties. All property rights, title and interest in and to the Intellectual Property shall be at all times and for all purposes remain vested in EirGrid and/or its licensors, as the case may be. Extranet Users agree not to copy, modify, transmit, display, distribute, perform, reproduce, licence, publish, create derivative works from, transfer or sell any information contained on or forming part of the Extranet, or otherwise use such Intellectual Property of the Extranet for re-sale, re-distribution or for any other commercial use, without the written consent of EirGrid and/or its licensors as the case may be.

The Extranet may provide links to other sites. Privacy policies on these sites may differ from that on the Extranet and EirGrid advise that you review the other site’s policies before providing personal information. While every care has been taken to ensure the high quality and standard of sites to which we link, EirGrid can take no responsibility for the content of these sites.

Limitations of Liability

In no event shall EirGrid be liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the use of the Extranet or reliance on any information it contains. EirGrid accepts no liability for the information provided by any third party sites or the interruption, suspension or termination of any services howsoever caused.

Governing Law

The Terms of Use shall be governed by and shall be read and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland and Extranet Users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Republic of Ireland Courts.
