We have recently concluded our consultation on the Transmission Development Plan for Northern Ireland (TDPNI) 2020-2029 .  Our consultation was held between 10th November 2020 and 11th December 2020. Thank you to all who submitted responses.  Based upon your feedback we have updated the TDPNI where necessary and submitted this draft to the Utility Regulator.

Please find responses available here and our report available here.

We are committed transforming the power system for future generations and this document outlines what projects are needed over the next 10 years in order to support decarbonisation, economic recovery and to improve the efficiency of the electricity system to benefit Northern Ireland’s consumers.

We develop, consult upon and publish a new report each year.

The Utility Regulator for Northern Ireland will now hold a consultation on the draft TDPNI until the 1st of March.
