During this unprecedented Coronavirus outbreak, we're continuing to work to keep the lights on. We know how important it is to maintain a reliable supply of electricity - for consumers, for communities and for the economy.

We're also continuing to work on longer-term grid development projects such as the proposed Kells Cluster. Your feedback on this project is important to us. Given the need to maintain social distancing, we can no longer meet in person to discuss the project. However, we still welcome your views and questions.

You can also email us at kellsclusterproject@soni.ltd.uk with your views, or to request a phone call from our team. You can also phone a member of the SONI team on either 07966930851 or 07833224144.

We hope these methods of contact give you the opportunity to learn more about the proposal, to ask us questions or to provide feedback. We will consider your feedback before we finalise our proposal and submit it for planning consent.

SONI intend on making our planning submission to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council in April 2020. Once a planning submission is made to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, members of the public will still have their opportunity to provide comment through the normal channels via the local council.

**Update** - Public Information day cancelled

The decision has been made to cancel the Public Information Day for the Kells Cluster Project. The Public Information Day was due to be held tomorrow, March 3rd, 2020 at the Ross Park Hotel, Ballymena.

This is unfortunate, but we still want to do everything we can to ensure you can continue to have your say on the project.

We are hoping to set up a meeting space in the Rosspark hotel to hold smaller, pre-booked briefings. We are doing this to ensure people have their say, while working to minimise the potential health risk associated with larger gatherings. We can also discuss the project via telephone or, set up other interactive mediums such as Skype or webinar meetings for interested parties. Should members of the public be keen to arrange a meeting, please get in touch with the Kells Cluster ALO Fergal Keenan during office hours on 02890794336. You can also send an email to kellsclusterproject@soni.ltd.uk.

Please visit  http://www.soni.ltd.uk/the-grid/projects/kells-cluster/what-is-happening-now/  for further updates.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
